Welcome to Heart Of Compassion Ministries, Inc.

We pray that while you are here you will begin to experience the true "shalom", peace that comes from being whole.

We have various outreaches including missions trips, Ladies Life Groups, upcoming women's conferences, and prayer outreach. We are in the process of getting our own space!  This will allow for expansion of our ministry to include food distribution, classes, and other outreaches.

Our ministry comes from the very heart of God, to reach out to hurting people with the compassion of Jesus.

This compassion moves us to action, to meet needs as Jesus did.  When we look at Luke 10:29-37 we see the Parable of the Good Samaritan.  This is a story Jesus told in answer to the question, "who is my neighbor?"  In this he indentifies for us how we as Christians are to respond to hurting humanity.

The story goes like this:  There was a man traveling along, and as he was going along his way thieves came upon him and beat him, leaving him nearly dead.  There was a priest who came along that same road and saw the injured man lying there, but didn't want to get involved in his suffering and chose to go along on the other side of the road.

Then there came a Levite, a highly religious man.  He also sees the injured man lying there, looks at him, crosses over to the other side of the road, and continues on his way.

Next there came a Samaritan, they were looked upon with contempt as rebels in their day.  This Samaritan was different, when he saw the man he had compassion.  He became involved with his suffering, began to treat the man's wounds, helped him on his donkey, and took him to an inn where he continued to take care of him.  The next day, he payed the innkeeper for the man's care, told him to keep a tab of anything more that he spent, and he would repay him on his return journey.

Jesus then turned to the man asking the question and said "Who do you think was this man's neighbor?"  The man answered "the one who showed mercy on him."  Jesus then replied "Go and do likewise."
