- Don't fear over your finances! Remember God is your source and He can supernaturally provide for you at any moment! (1 Kings 17:8-16) When we give in Faith remember God is more than able to multiply the resources of your hand! (2 Kings 4:1-7)
- Do not fear being alone. Sometimes when we choose to follow God we have to leave others in our lives behind if they do not make the same choice. Ps. 68:6 says that God sets the solitary (precious life, special, and unique) in families. Remember your God is the God who created relationships and is well able to take care of yours.
- Do not fear or worry about things that you have lost. We have a God who pays back double what has been stolen from us! (Is. 61:7) This same God restored family to Naomi, and paid back Job above what he had lost.
- Do not fear broken relationships. We all know there are few things as painful as relationships that are broken; whether with a spouse, relative or friend. Remember we serve a covenant-keeping God who wants us to have peace in all of our relationships. (1 Peter 4:8) As we hold onto His hand, we are able to hold our hands out to others...
- Do not fear over your children or their future! (Deut. 7:9) Remember, our children are in God's hands and we can trust Him! We have a promise that He will show Himself faithful on their behalf.
- Do not be afraid of sickness or disease! Our God is the Lord who heals us! (Ex. 15:26) There is no illness, disease, or disaster that's greater than His ability to heal! (1 Peter 2:24)
Whenever God wants to do something new, something beyond what we have seen or heard before, it always comes down to a choice......
WILL WE CHOOSE FEAR OR FAITH?
These two forces: fear and faith, are always at war in our lives.
When we give room to the enemy, fear takes control. But when we meditate on the Word and trust the voice of the Lord, Faith makes a way to overcome any obstacle! Faith heals, delivers, and multiplies resources. Fear destroys you emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Decide that this New Year will be defined by your increasing Faith!
Your enemy (Satan) hates miracles, he will do everything he can to prevent you from receiving from God. His greatest weapon against us is fear. Fear tries to steal our joy, our power/authority, our health, and our wealth!
According to 2 Tim. 1:7 , fear has no power in a believer! "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind." God has already defeated this enemy; we must stand and receive our deliverance!
