Heart of Compassion Ministries was founded by Katina Holland who continues to serve as president and CEO of the ministry. She is an ordained minister of the gospel. Katina was raised by her parents who are Pastors of a local church. This upbringing provided her with a rich heritage of seeing the Word in action. Katina is a registered nurse who currently works PRN for a christian based home care agency. Last year dedicating her life to full time Ministry.
She is also the mother of two beautiful daughters, Jenny and Daisy, which the Lord has blessed her with through the miracle of adoption! Katina feels a call of God to reach out to hurting humanity all over the world with the message that we serve a good God! Rev. Katina is available for booking at request for Speaking, and women's events. She ministers with an anointing to see people receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and deliverance from various addictions. She has a calling to bring women closer to God.

"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple." Ps 27:4 Jesus has shown me the joy of His love in my life. Because of the grace of God I have joy unmeasurable and peace unspeakable. It is the light of Jesus that I long to share with others. My daily walk includes being the mother of 3 beautiful,grown daughters and 6 precious grandchildren. I am presently employed by a Home Health agency as a RN. My birthplace is Louisiana where my dad and one sister still lives, another brother and sister live in Texas. I have many neices, nephews, and cousins that bless me. My mother went to be with the Lord several years ago. My heart belongs to God and in his presence I will stay...growing and living in, and sharing His love.
Meet our Treasurer, and Music Minister! This is Jean Halbrook.
Every since I was a small child I believed there was a God, but life's heartaches kept me from serving Him. In April of 2009 after attending several of Heart of Compassions Ladies Life Groups I totally surrendered my life to Him. When I did, He miraculously delivered me from nicotene, drugs and alcohol! He restored to me my love for worshipping Him! He has given me the gift of a Psalmist, and many new songs. I am watching as I worship Him lives are changed and people are set free! I am blessed to work in this ministry with the gifts that the Lord has given me, and return all the glory to Him. I am blessed with three sons and a granddaughter. I work for Integrity Home Care in Springfield, Mo.
Meet our Secretary! This is Bev. Pilgrim.
I had quit believing in God when Heart of Compassion Ministries found me. He restored my belief through His amazing love for me and I could not deny Him anymore. He loves you too, more than you can fathom! In a world gone mad, He is our joy and peace. When no one is around, you can count on Him to be there. It doesn't matter if the whole world rejects or abuses you, God will set you free and give you comfort and rest. This is what He is teaching me. Even in my work, as a surgical nurse, I see "His" work...helping me to grow into the kind of Christian I should be. I haven't arrived yet, but I am on my way! Praise God!
