We have been studying what God says about Healing:
Can we know the will of God concerning healing? I believe if we look at the Word it is very clear. There is not one account in the New Testament where Jesus ever refused to heal anyone who came to him asking for healing. I have personally read every account in several translations. The Bible says in Hebrews 13:8 that "He is the same yesterday, today and forever". If it was his will then, it is his will for us now. It takes Faith to believe that it is the will of God for me. Everyone who went to Jesus to be healed walked away healed, everyone without exception!
The Bible says sickness is Satanic. Job 2:7 "So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils." Luke 13: 10-17 "...ought not this woman whom Satan has bound... be loosed?"
Jesus came to heal, deliver and set free! Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus....who went about healing all who were oppressed by the devil." 1Peter 2:24 "...by whose (Jesus) stripes ye were healed." What has been provided for us must be received by faith. Jesus often refers to the faith of those who came to him for healing in the New Testament. Luke 8:43 "...your faith has made you whole". Luke 18:35-42 "...your faith has made you well".
Jesus paid the price for our salvation! Rom. 1:16 "...for it is the power of God unto salvation".
The word Salvation comes from the Greek word sozo, which means: deliverance, preservation, healing, and soundness.
This tell us that Jesus bought and paid for our deliverance, (from every attack of the enemy) preservation, healing, (spirit, soul, and body) and soundness. What an awesome revelation!
What is Faith? "Now faith (belief with an implication that actions based on that trust will follow) is the substance (confidence/trust) of things hoped (an attitued of confident expectancy) for, the evidence of things not yet seen." Hebrews 11:1 Faith works in the heart. It is not mental assent. It is a spiritual force that comes by hearing the word! "...faith cometh by hearing...the Word of God." Rom. 10:17
